Sir Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity?
He gave an example..
One a little girl she was drawing, and the teacher asked her "what are you drawing"
The little girl said " I'm drawing GOD"
The teacher told her "no one knows what the god looks like"
^^ and the little girl answered " They will in a minute :)"
How the education should be for the future generation whom will have inner creativity?
I really do agree with what he said..
Especially in Thai culture...we always order kids around...this thing can do...that thing can not without giving any reasons... Is it good for children?
Also nowadays, grade one students have many extra classes.... Stay in a room and study so hard for preparing a final test. Is this a right way for our next generation? Are you satisfied with kids who have only high IQ, low EQ, also ones who losing their creativities?
Let's think for our children.....for their future.
